Juicy Couture Jewelry Box Cake made for a Party Planner in York, PA. The Birthday Party Theme was Princess Tea Party and the creative Planner came up with the idea of using the Juicy Couture Tea Cup Charm and Jewelry Box for the Birthday Cake and Cupcakes! I thought this was the neatest thing ever! A pink Jewelry Box Cake and it’s Juicy inspired! I can’t wait to make more
Unfortunately the logo was too big for the three layer cake so it does stick out on the sides a bit. Also I painted the Image before transferring it to the cake…..I know!! What was I thinking!?!?! That is just it, I wasn’t, LOL!! So before you paint color onto your edible image make sure you transfer it onto the cake first or it will stick to the paper backing. Hey no one’s perfect right, and the people who know me are just shaking there heads laughing right now
The picture above would be the Tea Cup Charms for the Cupcake Toppers. Two questions might be going through your mind. One: Where are the Cupcakes!?!? I know, I forgot to take a picture of the Tea Cups on the Actual Cupcakes. Simple yet somehow when you run an extra busy Bakery the simple things sometimes fall through the cracks. Two: Did you hand draw that Juicy Logo. The answer to that is Yes, I hand drew each logo on the teacups. Very time consuming and alot of handles had to be placed back on.
Hope this helps you create an extra special Juicy Cake for your next party!
Some of you know I am planning my son’s Lego Star Wars Birthday Party for the end of February. It is hard to find things without Googling endlessly for ideas so I figured I would share some of the ideas I have found here. Some ideas I will/am using and others are just too cute not to mention. Next I needed ideas for party favors and a candy buffet complete with a cake or cupcakes. So let’s start with Party Favors. I found these inexpensive Inflatable Light Sabers which range in price from around $2.50 a piece up to $4.00 and over. I included a link to parties4kids where they were on sale for $2.59. I can’t take all the credit for this find. I was googling and came across this mom’s blog My Little Jedi and found a post about her son, Aniken,(yes she named her son Aniken so you know this has to be a good Birthday Party Post) for her son’s 1st Birthday Party. She had a picture with the light sabers and also the cutest Jedi Training Certificates. Definitely check out her blog post for more great Star Wars Birthday Party Ideas! She even had the cutest Setup for a Candy Buffet Table (pictured below).
These Star Wars Lego Cupcake Toppers are just too cute and there is even a downloadable Image for you to download, print, and cut to make your own Lego Cupcake Toppers. You can find the original Star Wars Lego Cupcake Toppers here at SkipToMyLou.
This next find isn’t so specific to the Lego Star Wars theme, however, it is specific to the Lego theme so I had to mention it. LivingLocurto has a great Blog where she posted about her son’s Lego Birthday Party here. She sells Custom Printables to go along with a Lego Party Theme. Things like Custom Water Bottle Labels that you can print off yourself or send it to FedEx Office to be printed for you. Invitations, Door Hangers, Lego Birthday Party Cupcake Toppers, and my favorite, Lego Head Cake Pops!! You have to check them out!
I told you they were too cute! You have to check out the rest of her blog. She includes the tutorial for the Lego Cake Pops as well!

Another Super Mario Brothers Cake! Very popular right now! This particular one that we made was actually for a little girl. The figurines were placed all over the cake, including Yoshi on the top. Being a huge Yoshi Fan I couldn’t agree more. The best Birthday Cake design ever. I absolutely love making Super Mario Bros. Birthday Cakes. So much, I have considered shipping this cake. Most people add the figurines themselves, so why not!?!? I have people contact me from all over the United States asking if I ship or would I meet them halfway for delivery? So I am going to attempt it with my next order. Now if only someone would order another one.
We made this adorable Topsy Turvy Safari themed Birthday Cake for a 7 year old’s Birthday Party this Saturday. Her favorite animal is featured on the top of the cake. An elephant with a Pink Bow! The Giraffe and Zebra were around the bottom of the cake. All were hand molded out of our made from scratch Marshmallow Fondant. The cakes were White cake with Fresh Strawberries and Buttercream and the bottom tier was Chocolate Cake with Oreo Buttercream!
This weekend we made a Two Tier Princess Pillow Cake with a Gumpaste Tiara on Top and lots of beautiful flowers all over the cake. The colors were different shades of Pink and Green. Our Favorite Princess Cake by Far. We made the bottom Princess Pillow Cake out of a square Red Velvet Cake and carved into it to make it look more like a real pillow. We then iced and covered it with Marshmallow Fondant, decorating it with and Argyle Pattern and Silver Dragees. The top Pillow was a Black and White Cake the top layer Vanilla and the bottom Chocolate. It was also iced and covered in Marshmallow Fondant. Deocorated with a simpler band going around the cake. The Marshmallow Fondant Flowers were hand rolled and placed all over the cake for the extra girly touch. We had a lot of fun making this cake and were so excited to be challenged with something that ended up looking so beautiful. If you are interested in a Princess Pillow Cake for your childs next Birthday we would love to make another. Feel free to contact us or stop by the bakery located at 1413 North George Street in York, PA to order.
This Tractor Cake was made to coordinate with a John Deere themed Party. The Little boy was turning 2 and the mother requested the Cake have a tractor pulling hail bails and the number two somewhere on the cake. The little ears of corn were a cute touch thought of at the last minute. Dean was the little boys name going across the top tier. The cake also had matching cupcakes go along with it. What a fun Tractor Cake for a Little Boys John Deere Birthday Party.
This sweet 16 cake was made to coordinate with another Birthday Cake for two girls turning 16 together. The first cake is a purple cake and the second cake is a blue cake. the cakes have the same color scheme only we switched it up a bit so they weren’t exactly the same. The picture below shows the variations in the cake really well. We used pink and purple butterflies on the blue cake, and blue with dark blue butterflies on the purple cake. The tiers are each a different height with one bottom tier smaller and the other top tier bigger than the other one. The colors are slightly different as well. We had a lot of fun doing these cakes and heard that everyone enjoyed them just as much!

Shopping Theme Birthday Cake Delivery to York PA
Here at Bear Heart Baking Company we are fortunate enough to live close to York College of Pennsylvania. So it is only fitting that we offer a York College Cake Delivery Service. It is actually one of our favorite things to do here at the Bakery. The cakes we create for each York College student is usually for a Birthday and incorporates something unique about the student. This particular Birthday Cake was for a student at York College of Pennsylvania and was for her 21st Birthday! We were so excited to share in her special day with her and her mother both! Desiree is really into Shopping, her Mother told me….particularly Gucci! Well we can relate I mean after all what girl doesn’t love Gucci? Ok, Ok so maybe everyone isn’t there biggest fan but Desiree sure is so she should definitely have a current miniature version of a Gucci purse on her cake, right? We thought so. While the purse didn’t say Gucci on it on their website we added it for anyone who wouldn’t know that it was a miniature replica of the white leather, bamboo handle purse featured for this Spring! Ok now I am starting to sound like an advertisement for Gucci, back to the cake!
The mini Victoria’s Secret Shopping Bag and spilled Starbucks completes any shopping trip in my mind. It doesn’t hurt to throw in some new sunglasses from Coach to complete your Spring essentials kit. The little lipstick and mini credit cards were just the right touch to finalize it. The girly design of the flower made the cake look like a gorgeous Birthday Cake to begin with, however adding the little shopping touches personalized this cake as Desiree’s 21st Birthday Cake for sure!
