Magnolia Bakery in NYC located at 1240 Avenue of the Americas New York, NY
On my Cupcake Mission the third stop for me was in NYC on Black Friday……I know New York..Black Friday…what was I thinking!?!? It actually wasn’t that bad. This Bakery on the other hand was BUSY! I can’t imagine they aren’t everyday though. And Yes, I did say this was my third stop on My Cupcake Mission. I will be blogging about my first two trips to different bakeries but was so excited to get this one in that well….I skipped the first two!
First of all the window decor is just the cutest thing ever. My 3 year old who loves any and everything to do with tu-tus and purple was loving this display. You can imagine her excitement when actually walking into the bakery and finding that there were Cupcakes inside! This Bakery is so cute, friendly staff, and the layout was nicely planned.
I wish I would have had a chance to take any pictures of the inside but since it was Black Friday, well enough said. What I can tell you about the inside is that it isn’t very big which is the story of most restaraunts and bakeries in Manhattan. When you walk in the door to your left will be different sections for ordering. They have cakes, pies, cookies, Ice Box Cakes, and of course Cupcakes! The Carrot Cake Cupcake was to die for!! The Red Velvet was the best beside Crumbs Bakery located just down the street. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am on this secret mission to try all the Red Velvet Cupcakes from every Bakery in the United States. I know what ambitious goals I have 
All joking aside I will definitely be back to get more cupcakes and try other things as well. I think my dad had a slice of pumpkin pie there which he thought was very good. Oooooh….Speaking of Pumpkin….their Pumpkin Cupcakes with Cream Cheese……AMAZING!!!
Out of the six I tried there wasn’t one I didn’t like. I forgot to mention the Red Velvet. I need to personally address this Cupcake, after all I am on a secret mission. The Red Velvet as stated above was moist however I love my Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese. At Magnolia Bakery they make there’s with Buttercream. Some people like Buttercream with there Red Velvet and if you are one of those people you have to try Magnolia Bakery in NYC, the Buttercream was melt in your mouth, so good it could have been Italian Buttercream, Buttercream Icing!
My overall Rating for Magnolia Bakery NYC would be an A++

Wonderful feedback about a Cupcake Delivery that we did last week to York College!! I Love My job!!!
My daughter is a freshman at YCP which is about 2 and a half hours away from home, so on the day of her birthday her dad said she “must” have a cake!…What to do?! So i googled bakeries in York, Voila! Bearheart! Amazing, Professional,Fast,Personal Delivery, right to my daughters hands,(2 Dozen Gourmet Cupcakes!)within a few hours! it DOESNT get any easier than that! Thanks Bearheart!!! We will be back! P.S. She later informed me the variety was Fantastic, there wasnt one she did not like!:D

At Bear Heart Baking Company we are all about Family! Having three children myself I know how hard it is to give each child that special one on one attention they need and deserve. So it was only natural that I create an opportunity for Mom, Dad, and Grandparents too, to get out and really have fun together. Our Mommy & Me Cupcake Decorating Sessions are usually at 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. so you don’t have to deal with the foot traffic of the store. We want it to be about fun and creativity and sometimes distractions take away from the experience. So we have blocked off two before/after hour times for each session. Each Session holds a total of 8 people. There are four tables with two stools for now. We will be expanding this space in the future but for now there is only seating for 8 total.
We do have Highchairs and have had children come to Mommy & Me as young as 17 months. Our oldest child was 9 years old but I think you will find that even into the teen years they will still have fun Decorating Cupcakes. After all, I am almost 30 and I have fun doing it everyday
Each Mother and Child Team will recieve 6 Cupcakes to decorate and 2 drink choices. We provide the icing and the goodies to decorate the cupcakes. We will post some pictures below from one of our Cupcake Decorating Sessions. The kids had a blast and the moms did too. We hope to see you at our next session.

Ice Cream Sundae Cupcakes Delivered to Turkey Hill Dairy
Bear Heart Baking Company recently delivered Ice Cream Sundae Cupcakes to Turkey Hill Dairy in Conestoga, PA. These adorable Ice Cream inspired Cupcakes were ordered by Tammy at Allebach Communications in Souderton, PA. Tammy wanted to catch the attention of the Marketing Team at Turkey Hill Dairy by sending them these cute Ice Cream Cupcakes to be delivered along with Napkins showing there Company logo. Tammy provided the napkins and the picture of what she wanted and I recreated it and delivered them to Turkey Hill Dairy in Conestoga, PA.

Bear Heart Baking Company has Cupcakes For Sale in there new Store front. The Bakery is located at 1413 North George Street in York, PA zip code 17404. We are conveniently located right off of Rt 30 and I – 83. Our location is the former Cakes By Mardella Location. Things have changed quite a bit from the original Cake Shop. We now have a store front which you can walk in and buy a cupcake and a coffee, sit and relax if you would like. You can walk in to order a custom cake or even take home a half dozen or even a dozen cupcakes to share with family and friends! Our Gourmet Brownies are great and completely Original! A must have for any chocolate lover! Our eco-friendly packaging is great for the environment! We have Pink Cake Boxes and Cupcake Boxes made of 100% Recycled Kraft Paper. We also have some sizes in White Cake Boxes as well. Our “Shopping Bags” are recycled as well.

Red Velvet with Cream Cheese
Chocolate Hazelnut topped Brownies with Bittersweet Chocolate
We introduced Brownies today at the Bakery. We had so many requests for the brownies and we were so happy to finally get them into the case today! We topped some with a Chocolate Hazelnut and Bittersweet Chocolate! We also featured some of our Original Brownies with a Whipped Chocolate Ganache and Bittersweet Chocolate! Pretty Close to a Death By Chocolate.
On top of the excitment from putting out the Brownies today I received an intersting call from someone who works at Food Network. It isn’t everyday someone from a network, let alone Food Network, calls you to ask if you are going to apply to there new show, Cupcake Wars!!! You can imagine my excitement Thousands of applications are submitted daily and I received a personal phone call!?!? SO Many Questions but so little time. I only have three days to make the video and submit the application to Cameron. Oh yes, Cameron is the nice Gentleman that found me on the internet and called me from Food Network (He works there) LOL! At this point I feel like screaming because this is an amazing opportunity for my sister and I and the Bakery!
For now I am crossing my fingers in hopes that I can meet there deadline and the deadline of my 6 Custom Cake orders that need to all be filled. Some Thursday, a couple Friday, and then a delivery and pickup on Saturday, all while stocking the cases for our storefront traffic! How do I work under pressure………I have to laugh……or else I couldn’t do it
